Paint blot drawing exercise
It's good to still set aside time to draw by hand. Sometimes it's hard to get into these days and I miss what drawing meant to me in my childhood. It used to feel as important as breathing, eating and sleeping. Maybe you have difficulties getting started as well. Here is something fun I tried to get the inspiration flowing. A mobile for Tavi
While I was building a baby in my womb, my husband Kurt and I decided to craft her a gift. Together, we built her mobile, because a newborn has no where to go and no place else to look but up, and ceilings are boring. Kurt engineered a perfectly balanced metal Calder inspired skeleton, to hang a bunch of wooden space-themed shapes that I designed and cut out with my cricut. I left some parts unpainted to show the wood grain and colored the rest in sweet pastels I mixed using
